Samsung on Thursday unveiled the Galaxy F17 5G, its latest smartphone offering a blend of sleek design, durability, and advanced AI capabilities. The device measures just 7.5 mm in thickness and features Corning Gorilla Glass for enhanced protection.
The Galaxy F17 5G comes with a 50 MP primary camera equipped with optical image stabilization (OIS), promising clear, high-resolution photos and videos without shaking. It also includes macro and ultra-wide lenses for versatile photography, while a 13 MP front camera handles selfies.
Samsung has integrated AI-powered features such as Gemini Live, allowing users to interact with AI visually in real time, alongside Google’s Circle to Search for seamless content discovery.
The device sports a Full HD+ Super AMOLED display, delivering vibrant visuals. Performance is driven by the 5nm Exynos 1330 processor, enabling multitasking without lag. A 5000mAh battery supports 25W fast charging, while IP54 certification safeguards the phone against dust and water splashes.
Available from September 11, the Galaxy F17 5G can be purchased through Samsung’s online store, select retail outlets, and Flipkart. Pricing starts at Rs 13,999 for the 4GB+128GB variant, Rs 15,499 for the 6GB+128GB model, and Rs 16,999 for the 8GB+128GB version.
Samsung has committed to six Android OS upgrades and six years of security updates for the device. The phone also supports Tap & Pay through Samsung Wallet and introduces the “On-device Voice Mail” feature, developed in India to improve call management.
